Exciting Start to International Musheer Rabbani Memorial Five-A-Side Hockey Tournament

Karachi: The International Musheer Rabbani Memorial Five-A-Side Hockey Tournament kicked off with thrilling action on its opening day at the Mini Astro Turf KHA Sports Complex. Four exciting fixtures were played, with Spartans leading the way with two victories, while Lions and Sultans each claimed one win.

The opening match saw Spartans narrowly defeat Gladiators 1-0, with Ali Hasnain scoring the decisive goal. In the second match, Lions triumphed 3-1 over Dolphins, with Bilawal showcasing an outstanding performance, scoring a hat-trick to secure the win. Umar was the lone scorer for the Dolphins.

The third match saw Sultans dominate Gladiators 4-2, with Ayan delivering another hat-trick performance for Sultans. Ali Ghauri, Sami, and Ayesha also found the back of the net. Junior scored one goal for Gladiators, but it wasn’t enough to turn the tide.

In the final match of the day, Spartans sealed their second victory with a narrow 1-0 win over Dolphins. Bari was the match-winner for Spartans, continuing their impressive form in the tournament.

With exciting performances already on display, the tournament promises to offer plenty of action and fierce competition as teams battle it out for the coveted title.
