PM Shehbaz to Consult Lawmakers Over PTI Talks Amid National Assembly Quorum Issues

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is set to take his lawmakers on board regarding negotiations with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). According to sources, the Prime Minister has called for a meeting of the parliamentary party following frequent quorum breaches in the National Assembly (NA).

The meeting, scheduled to take place at the Parliament House, will involve all ministers and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leaders, who have been asked to ensure their participation. The Prime Minister, alongside NA Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, has expressed concerns about the continuous quorum disruptions, which have hindered the NA’s proceedings.

The lawmakers will be urged to maintain quorum and ensure the smooth continuation of the assembly’s business.
