Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz Travels to Geneva for Medical Check-Up

Geneva-(Staff Reporter): Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz departed from Lahore to Geneva, Switzerland, on a special aircraft provided by the Pakistan Air Force. Accompanied by Senior Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb and her personal staff, Maryam’s travel plans, initially aimed at London, were revised to accommodate her arrival in Geneva, where she will undergo a medical evaluation, primarily focused on a throat examination.

Security was heightened for her departure from Lahore, with a police escort leading her from her residence in Jati Umrah to the airport. Sources within the party revealed that Maryam, along with Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb and her staff, boarded the special flight on the previous night.

Meanwhile, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif has already arrived in Geneva from London, planning to spend approximately four days with his daughter. Following their stay in Switzerland, Nawaz Sharif is expected to return to London.
