PM Shehbaz Calls Qatar His “Second Home” During Doha Visit

Expresses gratitude to Emir Sheikh Tamim for invitation, highlighting shared cultural ties

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised Qatar on Wednesday, referring to it as his “second home” and expressing appreciation to Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani for inviting him to visit.

Speaking in Doha, PM Shehbaz highlighted the “Manzar: Pakistan Art and Architecture 1940 to Today” exhibition, noting, “This art exhibition serves as a bridge, showcasing the cultures of both Pakistan and Qatar.”

He emphasized that “the exhibition reflects the strong bonds between Pakistan and Qatar.” Additionally, he extended his congratulations to the Pakistani diaspora in Qatar on the exhibition’s opening.

The Prime Minister also recognized the contributions of Federal Information Minister Atta Tarar, noting, “Atta Tarar played a pivotal role in the successful inauguration of this event.”

He remarked that Pakistan’s cultural heritage spans 5,000 years, and that the Qatar Museum is helping to promote cultural diplomacy.
