Pakistan’s star fast bowler, Shaheen Shah Afridi, thrilled fans by posting the first photo of his newborn son, Ali Yar, on Instagram.
In the heartwarming image shared on Thursday, Shaheen is seen holding his baby boy, looking at him lovingly. Although baby Ali Yar’s full face is partially concealed, a glimpse of his side profile was enough to melt the hearts of Shaheen’s followers, who filled the comments with congratulatory messages.
In the picture, Shaheen wears a simple black shirt, while his son is dressed in an adorable floral top paired with a white beanie. The caption, “At peace ❤️,” resonated with fans, adding to the warmth of the comments.
Shaheen and his wife, Ansha Afridi, welcomed their first child in August. The couple had married earlier in February 2023, with a nikah ceremony held at a local mosque in Karachi, attended by close family. They celebrated further with a wedding reception in Karachi in September 2023, followed by a valima gathering in Islamabad.
