Harris’ campaign expressed eagerness for a second encounter, with Fox News and CNN extending invitations to host. However, Trump remains steadfast in his refusal, stating “THERE WILL BE NO THIRD DEBATE!” on Truth Social.
While initial discussions hinted at multiple debates between the two contenders, Trump’s recent declaration on Truth Social has made it clear: “THERE WILL BE NO THIRD DEBATE!” This proclamation came as pressures mounted for another face-off, particularly after Harris expressed a desire for a rematch.
In the wake of the debate, Harris’ campaign voiced their eagerness for a second encounter, with Fox News extending an invitation to host. However, days turned into weeks without a formal response, prompting CNN to step in with an official invitation for an Oct. 23 debate. Harris accepted, urging Trump to join her on stage once more.
“Vice President Harris is ready for another opportunity to share a stage with Donald Trump,” her campaign chair, Jen O’Malley Dillon, stated. “Donald Trump should have no problem agreeing to this debate.”
Despite this, Trump remains steadfast in his refusal. At a recent rally in North Carolina, he asserted, “It’s too late to do another. I’d love to, in many ways, but it’s too late. The voting is cast.”
As the political stakes rise, Trump has reiterated his stance in a series of posts, maintaining that he has already bested both Biden and Harris in previous debates, adding, “Votes are already cast—and I’m leading BIG in the polls.” I’ll MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN, she’s incapable of it!”
