Railway Police Thwart Attempt by Three Minors to Flee to South Africa

Three underage girls from Dera Ghazi Khan were saved by railway police as they attempted to travel to South Africa.

The girls, aged 14 and named Aafia, Alisha, and Aiman, are cousins who embarked on a journey seeking a better life.

They had reached Lahore railway station, intending to continue on to Karachi before eventually traveling to South Africa.

However, their plans were halted when a duty constable found them left unattended in the station’s main porch and placed them under protective custody.

During questioning, the girls revealed that they had left home in hopes of pursuing a better future.

Their guardians had already lodged a missing person report at Kot Mubarak Police Station in Dera Ghazi Khan, which led the railway police to respond promptly.
