Karachi’s Jinnah Airport Security: Large Heroin Haul Hidden in Soap
At Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport, the Airport Security Force (ASF) successfully thwarted a smuggling attempt, uncovering 2.65 kg of heroin hidden inside soap bars in a passenger’s luggage. The individual, named Salamullah, was stopped by ASF officers during a standard luggage inspection.
In a separate incident, a similar operation at Bacha Khan International Airport in Peshawar led to the discovery of additional illegal substances. These drugs were concealed in the lower section of another passenger’s bag.
Both suspects were turned over to the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) along with the confiscated drugs for further investigation and legal proceedings.
