Senior FIA Judge Humayun Dilawar Faces Arrest Over Land Fraud Allegations

A Judicial Magistrate in Bannu has issued arrest warrants for Humayun Dilawar, Special Judge of the FIA Court in Islamabad, and several others in connection with a case involving the illegal occupation of government land.

The Anti-Corruption Department secured the arrest warrants for Humayun Dilawar, along with his brother Sadiq Dilawar and their father, Dilawar Khan, from the court.

The case alleges that the accused fraudulently registered government land under their names through a court decision. They subsequently incorporated the land into a housing society, resulting in substantial financial losses for the government.

Special Assistant to the Chief Minister for Anti-Corruption, Musaddiq Abbasi, stated that Judge Humayun Dilawar, his brother, and father are involved in fraud and creating fake land documents.

He alleged that Judge Dilawar has registered Rs2.5 billion worth of land in his and his brother’s names, and evidence is available to support this claim.

Abbasi has announced that the case involving the senior judge, Humayun Dilawar, has been escalated to the Chief Justice and the Registrar of the Islamabad High Court. Additionally, a formal complaint has been lodged against Judge Dilawar with the Supreme Judicial Council.
