No Negotiations with Terrorists, Says Balochistan,CM Bugti

Quetta(Ghulam Yaseen)-Subsequent to the recent wave of terrorism in Balochistan, Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti has reiterated his commitment to establishing the writ of the state and ensuring the protection of innocent lives. Addressing the Balochistan Assembly session on Tuesday, Bugti emphasized that those involved in terrorism would face consequences and that there would be no negotiations with them.

Bugti stated that terrorists aim to separate Balochistan from Pakistan, which is not permitted by the Constitution. He also highlighted the need for unity among parties to improve governance in the province. Additionally, Bugti vowed to provide all-out support to the police in confronting terrorism and expressed his resolve to further mobilize the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) by providing resources.

In a press conference on Sunday, Bugti emphasized the misuse of the term “disgruntled Baloch” and stated that those involved in killings are terrorists, not disgruntled individuals. He reiterated the government’s commitment to maintaining the writ of the state and standing with the oppressed.

Bugti also expressed his resolve to avenge the bloodshed and stated that the country cannot be handed over to mobs. He emphasized that no ideology will be imposed at gunpoint and that the government stands with the people of Pakistan during these trying times.

In another statement, Bugti said that those who took innocent lives would not be spared at any cost and reiterated the government’s resolve to establish its writ. He clarified that elements behind the ghastly killing of innocent Pakistani people were not Baloch but terrorists, and the state would go all out against them.

Bugti flayed the ghastly incident of Musakhail, where 23 passengers were offloaded and killed for their specific identity. He dispelled the prevailing misconception about certain gatherings under the garb of political rights, stating that proxies of the country’s enemies are furthering the single agenda of breaking Pakistan, which would not be allowed.

Bugti offered that doors are always open for those who agree to set on a dialogue table with the government for any kind of talks to maintain peace in the province. However, dialogues would not be held with those who took the path of violence and killing people.

The Chief Minister also highlighted the government’s efforts in providing higher education to Baloch girls in top universities worldwide, while elements are leading the youth towards violence. He emphasized that there is clear evidence of a RAW-driven war initiated in Balochistan to create unrest and boost terrorism to divide the country.
