Shaheen, Abrar Back in Test Squad

Abrar Ahmed and Kamran Ghulam Rejoin Pakistan's Test Squad Ahead of Second Bangladesh Match

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced that cricketers Abrar Ahmed and Kamran Ghulam have rejoined Pakistan’s national Test squad for the upcoming second Test match against Bangladesh.

Earlier, both players were released from the squad to participate in matches against Bangladesh A and were not part of the squad for the first Test.

Additionally, fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi has also rejoined the Test squad after temporarily leaving to spend time with his family following the birth of his son.

Fast bowler Aamir Jamal has returned to Rawalpindi as well. Jamal was excluded from the first Test due to fitness issues, and his participation in the second Test will depend on his fitness, as per the PCB.

According to sources, Pakistan’s playing XI is expected to undergo two to three changes for the upcoming match.
