Butt recounted his initial shock, followed by a knowing smile, as he realized that no one would surpass Nadeem’s remarkable performance.

“I am deeply thankful to the media for their unwavering support and encouragement throughout this journey,” Butt said, highlighting the intense training regimen they adhered to. Despite grappling with significant injuries, the team remained steadfast in their commitment, forgoing holidays to stay focused.

“Our approach was simple: hard work was the foundation. Managing injuries posed one of our greatest challenges, but we pushed through,” he added. Butt mentioned that they will now take a month’s rest before resuming their training.

Reflecting on the competition, Butt revealed that during Nadeem’s second throw, it was clear it would exceed 80 meters. “As a coach, it’s important to stay composed.
