Islamabad(Staff Reporter);PML-N Women Leaders Slam Deep-Fake Video, PML-N women leaders, including Minister of State for Information Technology and Telecommunication Shaza Fatima Khawaja, have strongly condemned a deep-fake video targeting Azma Bukhari,

Addressing a joint news conference in Islamabad on Friday, Shaza Fatima said “Azma Bukhari is a brave vocal leader and she has been humiliated by this deepfake video.

Shaista Pervaiz Malik, Romina Khurshid Alam and other women leaders were also present at the press conference.

The minister said that they would expose all those characters who were behind this deepfake video. She came down hard on the PTI, particularly Imran Khan. “I still remember that Imran Khan being prime minister gave such statements which were really disappointing,” Shaza Fatima said and added such actions fell under harassment domain.

Azma, she said, had moved a plea to the FIA and all those culprits behind it would be brought to justice. “The government will go after every individual who posted or re-posted the video,” she announced. This kind of propaganda, Shaza said, was being done by a particular political party.

Shaista Pervaiz Malik said that she regretted what had happened to Azma Bokhari, stating Azma Bukhari is a brave lady but it is quite distressing that why the women are being targeted for the political agendas.

Shaista Pervaiz Malik saod Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif always stopped party leaders and workers from attacking personal lives of the political opponents.

The other party leaders also said the women should not be targeted for the sake of politics as the women were playing a great role for the country’s soft image, she added.
