The deadlock was finally broken in the 74th minute when Dani Carvajal rose above the Dortmund defense to head home a precise Toni Kroos corner. This goal ignited Real Madrid, and they doubled their lead in the 83rd minute through Vinicius Jr.’s clinical finish.
