AJK Supreme Court Bar Association Delegation Meets President Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry
President Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry Stresses Lawyers’ Role in Upholding Rule of Law.
Muzaffarabad: A notable development unfolded in Muzaffarabad as a three-member delegation from the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) convened with AJK President Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry. Led by SCBA President Raja Sajjad Ahmed Khan Advocate, the delegation included SCBA Joint Secretary Advocate Jamshed Ahmed Butt and Member of the Executive Committee Khalid Naqshbandi.
During the meeting, President Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry emphasized the pivotal role of lawyers in upholding the rule of law and justice. He encouraged lawyers to go beyond their professional duties and actively contribute to the advocacy of the Kashmir issue. Recognizing the importance of the legal community’s engagement, he urged lawyers to raise awareness about the Kashmir cause both nationally and internationally.
