54 Terrorists Eliminated During Failed Infiltration on Pak-Afghan Border”

Rawalpindi – On the night of April 25-26 and 26-27, 2025, Pakistan’s security forces detected a large group of terrorists attempting to infiltrate through the Pakistan-Afghanistan border in the general area of Hassan Khel, North Waziristan District. The group, identified as khwarij (terrorists), was engaged by Pakistani troops and successfully thwarted in their infiltration attempt.

In a precise and effective operation, all 54 terrorists were neutralized. A significant cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosives was recovered from the killed militants.

Intelligence reports suggest that this group of khwarij was infiltrating on the orders of foreign handlers, with plans to carry out high-profile terrorist activities within Pakistan. The involvement of these foreign elements highlights the external forces behind such operations, as well as their intent to destabilize Pakistan. The Pakistani military emphasized that these actions amount to treason and a betrayal of the state and its citizens.

The National Security Council (NSC) has also highlighted the strategic intent behind such activities, noting that India may be attempting to divert Pakistan’s security forces from their primary focus on counterterrorism efforts. The NSC suggested that India’s actions could provide breathing space for the khwarij, who have been facing heavy losses due to Pakistan’s relentless military offensive.
