Bangladeshi Students Reach Pakistan for Higher Education Programme

KARACHI: (Web Desk) – A group of 45 students from Bangladesh arrived in Karachi on Monday to pursue higher education in Pakistan under the Pakistan-Bangladesh Knowledge Corridor programme.

Officials from the Higher Education Commission (HEC) and representatives of various universities warmly welcomed the students upon their arrival. The visiting students will continue their academic journey at some of Pakistan’s leading universities under the prestigious Allama Muhammad Iqbal Scholarship.

An HEC spokesperson stated that the Knowledge Corridor initiative aims to enhance academic collaboration between Pakistan and Bangladesh while strengthening people-to-people ties. The programme is designed to promote educational exchange and foster long-term cooperation in higher education.

The spokesperson added that a second batch of Bangladeshi students is expected to arrive next week, reaffirming HEC’s commitment to providing quality education opportunities to Bangladeshi youth.
