352 Killed, 535 Injured, 130 Checkpoints Destroyed in Operation Ghazab-ul-Haq: Tarar
Providing context, Tarar recalled that just a day earlier official figures had confirmed 352 militants killed, over 535 injured, 130 posts destroyed, 26 captured, and 171 armoured vehicles eliminated, with strikes conducted at 41 locations.
Rejecting Taliban propaganda, the information minister said the Afghan Taliban regime does not possess the capability to shoot down Pakistani aircraft. He dismissed claims circulating on social media, saying the video being shared was old and misleading, adding that if any Pakistani pilot had been captured, credible evidence would have surfaced by now.
Tarar further stated that Pakistan’s full-scale counter-operation against the Afghan Taliban remains underway. He stressed that Taliban-imposed laws have no connection with Islam and accused the regime of openly supporting terrorism. He also pointed to what he described as a growing nexus between India and the Taliban, noting that both countries increasingly focus on terrorism narratives rather than trade.
“The world is witnessing how the Afghan Taliban are facilitating terrorism,” Tarar said, adding that Pakistan will continue its operations until militant threats are completely eliminated.
