352 Killed, 535 Injured, 130 Checkpoints Destroyed in Operation Ghazab-ul-Haq: Tarar

Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar Briefs Media on Latest Situation

ISLAMABAD: (Mudassar Chaudhary) – Attaullah Tarar issued a late-night statement on Operation Ghazab-ul-Haq at 9:00 PM on February 28, outlining the reported losses suffered by Afghan Taliban elements.

According to the minister, 352 Taliban operatives were killed and more than 535 injured during the operation. He stated that 130 checkpoints were destroyed, while 26 checkpoints were seized by Pakistani forces.

The briefing further claimed the destruction of 171 tanks and armed vehicles, and said that 41 locations across Afghanistan were effectively targeted through aerial operations.

The minister described the operation as decisive and said it was conducted to safeguard national security and counter hostile activities.

The Pakistan Air Force destroyed the Afghan army headquarters and Mohmand Dhara base in air strikes in Kandahar and Nangarhar. According to details, ground and air operations are underway in “Operation Ghadb-e-ll-Haqq”, launched by Pakistan after the tension on the Pak-Afghan border.
