3,229 Constables to Be Recruited for Revamped Federal Constabulary

ISLAMABAD: The federal government has approved the recruitment of 3,229 new constables for the recently upgraded Federal Constabulary (FC) across the country to strengthen national security forces.
This decision marked a significant development following last month’s presidential ordinance, which transformed the former Frontier Constabulary into a nationwide federal force.

Punjab: 20% quota — 646 constables
Sindh: 20% quota — 646 constables
Balochistan: 20% quota — 646 constables
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 20% quota — 646 constables
Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK): 10% quota — 323 constables
Gilgit-Baltistan (GB): 6% quota — 193 constables
Islamabad Capital Territory: 4% quota — 129 constables
The eligibility criteria for candidates include:
Age limit: 18 to 22 years
Educational requirement: At least second division matric (SSC) or intermediate (FA/FSc) or equivalent
Minimum height for male candidates: 5 feet 10 inches
Minimum height for female candidates: 5 feet 5 inches
Applicants will be required to pass both physical fitness tests and written examinations as part of the recruitment process.
