24 policemen terminated from service in Sialkot: Here’s why!
Another policeman was terminated from service over his absence from special duty.
The Sialkot district police officer (DPO) on Saturday terminated 23 policemen for their alleged links with criminals.
According to the spokesperson for the Sialkot police, 51 policemen were punished in DPO Faisal Shahzad’s supervision and 23 of them were terminated from service for allegedly having links with criminals.
Another policeman was terminated from service over his absence from special duty.
Three sub-inspectors, four assistant sub-inspectors, one head constable and 17 constables have been terminated from the police service.
At least 51 policemen were charged with violation of department rules and they were given punishments like forfeiture of service, censure and deductions.
