Suicide Blast at Independent Candidate’s Election Office in Peshawar Leaves 17 Dead, 10 Injured.
Peshawar: A suicide blast occurred at the election office of an independent candidate in the Khanowzai area of Peshawar, resulting in 8 fatalities and 10 others injured, according to private TV reports. The incident took place at a crucial time, with only one day remaining until the general elections.
The suicide attack targeted the election office of independent candidate Asfandyar Kakar, who is contesting NA-265. Security forces have cordoned off the area in response to the incident.

Police, FC, Levies, and other law enforcement agencies’ personnel are present at the scene of the blast, and security has been tightened in Peshawar and surrounding areas.
8 Killed, Several Injured in Blast Outside JUI Election Office in Balochistan’s Qilla Saifullah
In a tragic incident, a blast outside the election office of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) in the Qilla Saifullah area of Balochistan has resulted in the loss of 8 lives and left several others injured.
According to initial reports, multiple individuals have sustained injuries, with the condition of 4 of them being reported as critical.
Qilla Saifullah is located approximately 170 kilometers away from Quetta, and it is where JUI’s Maulana Sami ul Haq is contesting in the elections.
At the time of the blast, a significant number of workers were present at the office, as per police sources.
