Quetta: 11 miners suffocate in coal mine accident near Quetta. At least 11 miners lost their lives in a horrific accident on Monday in the Sanjadi coal mine, located about 40 kilometers outside Quetta.
According to Chief Mines Inspector Abdul Ghani, the miners died from suffocation caused by carbon monoxide (CO) gas emission. Rescue efforts successfully retrieved the bodies of the deceased from the mine, and they were transported to a nearby hospital.
