102-Year-Old Manette Baillie Celebrates Birthday with Skydive
Manette Baillie, a 102-year-old from Suffolk, has become Britain’s oldest skydiver, marking her birthday with a leap from an aircraft. The brave centenarian described the experience as a mission accomplished.
Baillie took on the skydive to support three charities that are close to her heart: the East Anglian Air Ambulance, the Motor Neurone Disease Association, and Benhall Village Hall. So far, she has raised £9,000, with a goal of reaching £30,000.
Reflecting on her historic jump, Baillie shared, “When the door opened, I knew there was nothing left to do but jump.”
