100 Passengers on PIA Flight Narrowly Avoid Disaster Amid Technical Issue
A Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight from Islamabad to Skardu faced a technical issue shortly after takeoff. The plane departed from Islamabad at 10:50 am, but at 11:55 am, the pilot announced a technical fault. Initially, the pilot informed passengers that the aircraft would return to Islamabad for safety reasons. However, a few minutes later, the pilot updated that the issue had been resolved. Instead of landing in Islamabad, the flight continued to Skardu, eventually landing there safely at 11:45 am. Among the 100 passengers on board were MNA Nawabzada Mir Jamal Raisani and a Gilgit-Baltistan Minister, according to PIA.
