Talent Hunt: Rawalpindi District Athletic Association Hosts Speed Competitions"
Rawalpindi-(Kanwal Khan)_The District Athletic Association Rawalpindi, in collaboration with the District Sports Committee and Right to Play organization, has announced a series of competitions to find the fastest athlete in the region. The event, titled “Finding the Fastest Athlete,” will feature a 100-meter race, open to athletes from schools, colleges, universities, and street athletes.
The competitions will be held in two phases, with the first phase taking place in Rawalpindi, Chakwal, Talagang, Islamabad, Pindaddankhan, Gujarkhan, Jhelum, Wah, Murree, and Attock. The final competitions will feature the top athletes from each preliminary round.
Former DG Pakistan Sports Board Brigadier Arif Siddiqui, chairman of the organizing committee, hailed the event as a great step towards identifying talent. The Organizing Secretary added that the competitions will start with the children of Pakistan Sweet Homes Islamabad, with Chairman Zumard Khan inaugurating the event.
The winner of the competition will receive a major prize, with a total of 100 athletes receiving prizes.
