Yasir Arafat Criticizes Pakistan’s Extras in First ODI Against Australia

Australia-(Sports Reporter)- Former Pakistan all-rounder Yasir Arafat criticized the national team’s performance in the first ODI against Australia at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), specifically pointing out the high number of extras bowled.

Arafat took to X (formerly Twitter), stating, “Bowling 17 wides while defending a modest total of 204 is just handing the game away.” He emphasized the importance of maintaining discipline, adding, “In tight matches, control over extras is crucial!”

Arafat called for better execution of bowling plans, highlighting that “discipline with extras is everything.” Pakistan will aim to improve their strategy in the second ODI against Australia in Adelaide on Friday.
