Islamabad: President Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif extended a warm welcome to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on his arrival in Islamabad.
President Erdoğan’s visit was marked by a grand reception, which included a 21-gun salute and a performance by a military band. Children waving Pakistan and Turkish flags added to the festive atmosphere.
The Turkish President’s aircraft was escorted by Pakistan Air Force (PAF) jets, symbolizing the strong bilateral ties between the two nations.
