Gold Price Surges by Rs1,200, Reaches Rs257,700 Per Tola

KARACHI: On Tuesday, gold prices in Pakistan saw a significant rise, in line with the upward trend in international markets. The price of gold per tola in the local market jumped to Rs257,700, marking an increase of Rs1,200.

Similarly, the price of 10 grammes of gold increased by Rs1,029, reaching Rs220,936, as reported by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA). This comes after Monday’s session, where gold prices had remained steady at Rs256,500 per tola.

On the international front, the price of gold climbed to $2,458 per ounce on Tuesday, including a $20 premium, which is a $19 rise from the previous day.

Gold prices in Pakistan experienced a significant surge

Meanwhile, silver prices held steady at Rs2,850 per tola. Last month, gold prices reached a record high, with the per tola rate peaking at Rs257,300, an increase of Rs2,400.
