Due to the incompetence of the Punjab Food Sahiwal, the citizens started suffering from various diseases due to the poor quality of the materials prepared at the bakeries and the poor sanitation arrangements.

Due to the incompetence of the Sahiwal district administration and the Punjab Food Sahiwal, the citizens started getting seriously ill from Asia prepared with the worst material at the bakeries across the district and the poor sanitation arrangements, due to which the citizens are very worried, while the Punjab Food Sahiwal The political, social and journalistic community of Sahiwal, Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz has strongly demanded from Chief Secretary Punjab and DG Punjab Food that strict checking of bakeries in Sahiwal district should be done. The articles produced from the material should be discarded and the owners of the bakeries should be brought to justice by taking legal action against them.

The Punjab Food Authority (PFA)  is an agency of the provincial Government of Punjab in Pakistan. It regulates food safety and hygiene in the Province. It was formed under the Punjab Food Authority Act 2011. The PFA is the first agency of its kind in Pakistan. Enforcement of food hygiene and quality standards as described in the Punjab Food Authority Act 2011 and the Pure Food Rules 2011.

The Punjab food Authority has been working as a functional entity in district Lahore since 2 July 2012. Enforcement of food hygiene and quality standards as described in the Punjab Food Authority Act 2011 and the Pure Food Rules 2011 is carried out through a qualified team of Food Safety Officers (FSOs’) and Assistant Food Safety Officers (AFSOs’). The functionality of field teams at the district level is being supervised by the Deputy Director (Operations).
