Pakistan Customs Foils Attempt to Game New Faceless Customs System
A criminal case has been filed against the culprits, with three arrests made and further raids underway.
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Customs successfully thwarted an attempt to manipulate the Faceless Customs Assessment System (FCAS) on Saturday.
The Karachi Customs team, under directives from the FBR, remained vigilant, leading to the suspension of licenses for 45 agents involved in the attempt. An appraising officer was also suspended, and a formal inquiry has been initiated.
