ISLAMABAD: Opposition Leader in the National Assembly, Omar Ayub, has resigned from his position as a member of the Judicial Commission, citing ongoing legal issues as the primary reason for his decision. Ayub submitted his resignation letter to the Speaker of the National Assembly on Tuesday, which was later obtained by Samaa News.
In the resignation letter, Ayub explained that multiple legal cases filed against him had made it difficult for him to devote the necessary time and attention to his duties on the Judicial Commission. He stated that these legal matters had created significant personal and professional challenges, ultimately leading him to step down from his role.
