KP Anticipates Salary Increase as Government Releases Funds

In a bid to bolster disaster management, Rs 1,250 million has been allocated to the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) for monsoon preparedness and post-rain repairs.

Peshawar: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Finance Adviser, Muzamil Aslam, has hinted at imminent good news regarding salary increases for employees, as the government allocates significant funds for various essential expenditures.

As part of preparations for the monsoon season, Rs 100 million has been disbursed to prevent flooding, with an additional Rs 105.8 million released to districts across the province. Further allocations include Rs 15.5 million to Rescue 1122 for Muharram preparations and Rs 162 million to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police for maintaining law and order during the holy month.
