Govinda Hospitalized After Accidental Shooting Incident

Actor and Shiv Sena leader Govinda was hospitalized early this morning after a mishap involving his licensed revolver, which accidentally discharged and struck his leg.

The incident took place around 4:45 AM while Govinda was inspecting the firearm before departing for an early morning flight to Kolkata. Reports indicate that the bullet hit his knee, prompting immediate medical intervention at CRITICare Hospital in Mumbai. His family and team have yet to release an official statement regarding his health status.

Sources confirm that Govinda was admitted to the hospital at 5:15 AM and, according to hospital officials, is now out of danger. Law enforcement has begun an investigation into the incident and has confiscated Govinda’s revolver for further examination.

His manager, Shashi Sinha, spoke to ANI, stating, “Govinda was getting ready to leave for Kolkata when his licensed revolver slipped from his hand and accidentally fired, injuring his leg. The doctor has successfully removed the bullet, and he is recovering well in the hospital.”
