Emphasis on Strengthening Pakistan-Canada Bilateral Relations

Islamabad: Federal Minister for Information, Attaullah Tarar, met with the Canadian High Commissioner, Leslie Scanlon, to discuss bilateral relations between Pakistan and Canada, along with various important issues including the government’s economic measures.

During the meeting, the Canadian High Commissioner congratulated the Federal Minister for Information on also assuming the additional portfolio of Culture and National Heritage.

The Federal Minister for Information emphasized the importance of strong relations between Pakistan and Canada. He highlighted the enduring and multifaceted nature of the relationship between the two countries.

“Canada is a key development partner for Pakistan,” stated the Federal Minister for Information. He underscored the necessity of further strengthening economic ties between the two nations, noting that enhanced economic relations would be in the interest of both countries.
