Islamabad- (Mudassar Iqbal): On the directions of the Zonal Commissioner Corporate Tax Office Islamabad, Madam Naureen Yaqub, instructed Deputy Commissioner Asimah Majeed to take enforcement action against the Dollar Store located in Centaurus Mall, Islamabad.
The store was found to be issuing non-integrated invoices despite being integrated with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) system. A team comprising Senior Auditor Bilal, Inspector Inland Revenue Shahid, and other staff members executed the directive by sealing the premises on Tuesday. This action was taken as a measure to ensure compliance with FBR regulations.
The store’s non-compliance, despite being integrated with FBR, reflects a breach of tax regulations and undermines efforts to strengthen tax documentation and transparency.
