Pakistan-Warns of Growing Terrorism, Unemployment, and Anti-Army Sentiment. Maulana Fazlur Rehman,has criticized the government for it handling of various issues, including the alleged possession of CPEC by terrorists, law and order situation, unemployment, and missing persons.
Fazlur Rehman expressed concern over the growing terrorism in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where armed groups are taking revenge and challenging the state’s writ. He highlighted the inability of the government to address these issues, leading to a situation where the national anthem cannot be sung in Balochistan.

He emphasized the need for a political solution to these problems, rather than relying on force or military action. Fazlur Rehman also stressed the importance of empowering politicians to address these issues, rather than sidelining them.
Fazlur Rehman criticized the government’s lack of seriousness in addressing the missing persons’ issue, citing cases where loved ones have been missing for twenty years without any information on their whereabouts. He also mentioned the case of an Army Public School student who was hanged after being caught a year ago.
He warned that the growing hatred towards the army due to these issues will take two to three generations to subside. Fazlur Rehman also expressed concern over increasing unemployment, inflation, and the government’s indifference towards the people’s problems.
