China allows visa-free entry to THIS country: Details inside

Visa-free access means Australian tourists can enter China for up to 15 days and save around $110 on visa fees.

CANBERRA: In a major relief for travelers, authorities in China have announced the lifting of visa requirements for citizens coming from Australia.

The development comes as Chinese Premier Li Keqiang confirmed the country will include Australia in its visa waiver program to speed up access to the business and tourism hub.

Visa-free access means Australian tourists can enter China for up to 15 days and save around $110 on visa fees. The visa-free access was obtained by Kiang after high-level talks with Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albany.

It should be noted that the Chinese government has eased visa restrictions for several countries as these countries have faced the brunt of COVID-19 due to social distancing protocols that have disrupted travel.
