ISLAMABAD: In a remarkable gesture of support for Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police personnel, Akbar Niazi Teaching Hospital (ANTH) has entered into a collaboration with the police force to offer subsidized healthcare services for officers and their families. This new partnership was formalized with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Dr. Akbar Niazi Teaching Hospital and ICT Police at a ceremony held at the ICT Police Headquarters in Islamabad.
The agreement was signed by Syed Inayat Ali Shah (PSP), Assistant Inspector General of Police (Logistics) Islamabad, and Dr. Areej Neyazi, Director of ANTH, marking a significant step toward enhancing healthcare access for law enforcement personnel. As part of the MoU, ANTH will offer exclusive discounts on medical services, including consultations, laboratory tests, radiology, surgeries, in-patient care, and pharmaceuticals. In a special gesture, the hospital has pledged additional benefits to the families of injured (Ghazi) or martyred police officers who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty, ensuring they receive the care they deserve.

She emphasized that while providing advanced and affordable healthcare to all is a priority for ANTH, raising awareness about disease prevention and overall wellness remains equally important.
