Karachi – Emerging actor and social media influencer Dua Zahra has caused a stir on social media after publicly confessing her admiration for Pakistan’s star cricketer Babar Azam, revealing that he is her only crush.
In an interview on a private TV entertainment show, Zahra admitted her fondness for cricket, particularly for the former national cricket team captain, Babar Azam. “The one and only Babar Azam. I have a huge crush on him, and I don’t like when people troll him,” Zahra said, urging critics to stop targeting the star batter. She further emphasized, “I don’t like any other cricketer.”
Zahra, who has garnered attention for her work in the entertainment industry, also shared insights into her personal life and views on relationships. “I’m happily single and have never been happily committed. I don’t believe in relationships but in marriage,” she remarked. When asked about her ideal life partner, Zahra emphasized the importance of honesty and loyalty. “I want someone who is supportive, honest, and genuine. That is my only strict requirement. I can’t share my guy, so he must not lie or hide things from me,” she explained.
In response to questions about physical appearance, Zahra stated that compatibility mattered more than looks. “He should be good enough to look compatible next to me. Finances are not an issue; I can earn and manage myself,” she said. Additionally, Zahra mentioned that her future partner must share her passion for cricket.

Zahra’s comments come at a time when Babar Azam, currently part of Pakistan’s squad for the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy, has faced scrutiny over his recent form. Despite this, Babar continues to be one of Pakistan’s most beloved cricketers, enjoying immense popularity both on and off the field.
Zahra is not the first celebrity to publicly express interest in Babar Azam. Last year, actress Nazish Jahangir also made headlines when she was asked about the possibility of accepting a marriage proposal from the cricketer. Jahangir’s response, “I would have to decline,” led to a wave of trolling from Babar’s supporters on social media.
