Islamabad: The Pakistan Taekwondo Federation (PTF) is all set to host a historic event as 487 athletes from 22 countries, including Pakistan, prepare to compete in the Combaxx 7th Asian Taekwondo Open Championships 2025. Scheduled to take place from February 14 to 20, 2025, the prestigious competition will be held at the renowned Liaquat Gymnasium in Islamabad, marking a significant moment in Pakistan’s taekwondo history.

The championships will feature intense competition in various categories, including:

  • Poomsae: 110 athletes
  • Junior Kyorugi: 100 athletes
  • Senior Kyorugi: 277 athletes
