WWF Trying to change the life of common man: Sajid Tori

 

Islamabad_ Federal Minister for Human Resource Development and Overseas Pakistanis Sajid Tori has said that the Works Welfare Fund is an organization which is unique in the world. The ministry has been trying to establish a university and a medical college for workers. Welfare Fund was founded by Quaid-e-Awam Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Shaheed and under the direction of Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party Bilal Bhutto Zardari is delivering best to change the destiny of the deprived people. On behalf of Chairman Bilawal Bhutto and the Prime Minister of Pakistan, he hailed the draw of Hajj Scheme 2023 ceremony at the Works Welfare Fund Headquarters, in which Federal Minister for Human Resource Development and Overseas Pakistanis was the special guest. On arrival at the Works Welfare Fund headquarters,

Secretary Workers Welfare Fund Zulfikar Ahmed and Director Education Waseem Afzal Waraich and other officers welcomed the special guest with bouquets of flowers. Sajid Turi said that he was a humble worker and soldier of Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and it was an honor for him to participate as a special guest in this institution established under his vision on the 44th anniversary of great leader and leader of the people Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto. On this occasion, he wished to pay tribute to his valuable services for the establishment of this institution. He said that it was a matter of pride for him that he was present in this institution which was founded by great leader,

Quaid Awam Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Shaheed. The mission of Quaid-e-Awam was to serve Pakistanis, he established this institution. The main manifesto of his party was bread, cloth and house and service to the poor people of this country on priority. Worker welfare fund has completed 83463 flats and houses so far. 1070 children of industrialists have been given doctor’s engineers graduation through scholarship. Along with this, the institution has also given marriage grant to 184346 laborers’ daughters to get married. While 24974 families of laborers have been given death grant. This organization has given educational scholarships to 301266 children of laborers. This organization has been sending 50 laborers from all over the country for Hajj since 2011, paying full expenses through lottery. 10 laborers from Sindh, 10 laborers from Balochistan,

10 laborers from KPK and 10 laborers from Punjab and 10 laborers from Federal Capital are sent for Hajj by drawing lots. 7 employees of Workers Welfare Fund and Board employees of four provinces 2 Punjab, 2 Sindh, 1 KPK, 1 Balochistan and 1 Workers Welfare Fund are sent from Islamabad on seniority basis. EOBI is providing life time pension facility to industrial workers and after their retirement OEC is giving jobs abroad and also supporting. For this purpose OPF is also supporting overseas Pakistanis in the country and abroad. On behalf of our leader, Chairman Bilawal Bhutto and the Prime Minister of Pakistan, I congratulate all those workers whose names have been drawn for Hajj through the lottery and wish them all the best. I am deeply grateful for everyone’s visit.

I especially appreciate the services of Federal Secretary and Secretary WWF who are working with me day and night for improvement. I pray that Allah Ta’ala accepts this effort of this institution and blesses it with further development. Speaking on this occasion, Secretary Workers Welfare Fund Zulfiqar Ahmed said that all the other institutions under the leadership of the Federal Minister of Overseas are also trying day and night for better work.

As Directorate of Education DWE is providing training facilities to industrial workers. Federal Minister Sajid Turi drew the names of the lucky ones to go on Hajj through a lottery, in the first phase of the lottery, ten lucky ones were Muhammad Usman, Adeel Maqsood,

Tanveer Hussain, Muhammad Abu Bakr Siddiqui, Tayyab Shakeel, Muhammad Ayub, Zahoor Ahmed. , Javed Ashraf, Javed Iqbal, Raja Muhammad Saleem, Muhammad Ashfaq, while in the second phase, the names of ten alternate persons will be drawn by drawing lots. The people involved in the first stage will be sent for Hajj. In the second stage, the names of Naveed Arif, Abdul Ghafoor, Amjad Hussain, Basharat Hussain, Tariq Mohammad Azam, Hafaz Mohammad Arif, Qamar Deen, Mahmood Hussain, Ashfaq Rahman were drawn out of a total of 756. Applications received, after due scrutiny, 511 persons were included in the draw
