Seven FC Soldiers Martyred in Kurram Terrorist Attack
Kurram-Seven Frontier Corps personnel were martyred in a terrorist attack in Kurram district, Pakistan. The attack occurred when militants ambushed a security convoy.
According to police sources, the incident occurred in the Pastuni area of Chanar Khel Police Station, Central Kurram. While a patrol of FC 154 Wing was near a nearby seasonal river, they came under fire from all sides by armed terrorists. Seven FC personnel were killed and two wounded.
The dead and injured were transported to the CMH Thal. The names of those killed include Naik Jalal, Arif, Wahdat, Imran, Mustafa, Javed, and Sepoy Owais.
Terrorist incidents of this nature have been increasing in Central Kurram over the past several months. The area is located near the districts of Khyber and Orakzai.
