Punjab Motorways Closed Due to Intense Fog

The Motorway Police have advised travelers to avoid unnecessary journeys during these conditions.

LAHORE: Severe fog has blanketed several motorways across Punjab, significantly reducing visibility to zero, leading to the closure of key motorway sections. According to a spokesperson for the National Highways and Motorway Police, the following motorways are closed:

  • Motorway M-2: Closed from Thokar Niaz Baig to Babu Sabu
  • Motorway M-3: Closed from Faizpur to Nankana Sahib
  • Motorway M-4: Closed from Abdul Hakeem to Multan
  • Motorway M-5: Closed from Sher Shah in Multan to Zahir Pir

The Motorway Police have advised travelers to avoid unnecessary journeys during these conditions. They recommend driving between 10 AM and 6 PM when fog is less dense and urge drivers to use fog lights on both the front and rear of their vehicles for safety.
