Punjab Announces Rs10,000 Aid for 3 Million Families During Ramazan
Lahore – In a bid to support underprivileged families during the holy month of Ramazan, the Punjab government has rolled out a special financial assistance package. This year, three million families across the province will receive Rs10,000 each to help them manage the rising costs of essential goods.
The initiative, designed to offer direct relief to those in need, comes as part of the government’s efforts to ease the burden on low-income households during Ramazan. Unlike previous years, where the government focused on setting up Ramadan bazaars, this time the authorities have opted to provide financial aid directly to deserving families. The goal is to give people the flexibility to purchase essential items according to their specific needs.
The Price Control and Commodities Management Punjab has already submitted a summary for the release of funds, ensuring the swift disbursement of this assistance. In a move to make the process even more accessible, the Punjab government plans to deliver the financial aid directly to the recipients’ doorsteps.
