Mandol to Receive Comprehensive Welfare Package, Vows to Protect Rights of Azad Kashmir Citizens

Mandol-(Special Correspondent)-Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Chaudhry Anwar ul Haq, has reaffirmed his commitment to the welfare of the people, stating that politics is a mission, not a service. During his visit to Mandol, he announced plans to address the area’s deprivations through a comprehensive welfare package.

Chaudhry Anwar ul Haq expressed these views while addressing a reception ceremony held in Mandol during his Hijra visit. He emphasized that he is an ordinary political worker, and politics is not a service mission, but a means to understand and alleviate the pain and suffering of the people.

The Prime Minister acknowledged the difficulties faced by the people and assured that measures will be taken to strengthen municipal institutions. He also emphasized the importance of peaceful protest as a democratic right but warned that actions beyond that will not be tolerated.

Chaudhry Anwar ul Haq reiterated that serving the people of the state is the government’s top priority. He expressed gratitude to former advisor Sardar Amjad Yusuf for organizing the reception and announced plans to hold a meeting in Mandol to announce a big package for the welfare of the people.

During his visit, the Prime Minister also addressed the issues faced by the local school, promising to complete the staffing requirements by next month. He emphasized the importance of providing opportunities to deserving individuals and highlighted the role of social protection funds in bringing real change to the people.

The Prime Minister’s convoy was showered with flowers and petals amidst loud slogans in his favor as he arrived at Tatta Pani Guest House. Azad Kashmir Legislative Assembly candidate Sardar Osama Zahid organized a lavish dinner for the Prime Minister’s convoy.

Chaudhry Anwar ul Haq’s visit to Hajira was also met with enthusiasm, with government minister Sardar Amir Altaf and hundreds of workers welcoming him. The Prime Minister was garlanded with flowers and showered with petals as he was escorted to the Hajira Jalsa Gah in a large public procession.

Government ministers Nisar Ansar Abdali, Zafar Iqbal Malik, Javed Iqbal Badhanvi, and Ahmed Raza Qadri were present during the Prime Minister’s visit to Hajira.

PM Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq Rejects Occupied Kashmir Elections

Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq, addressed a public meeting in Hajira, Poonch district, organized by Minister Teuta Sardar Aamir Altaf. He reiterated Azad Kashmir’s commitment to its ideology and the freedom movement, honoring the sacrifices of martyrs and ghazis.

Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq rejected elections held in occupied Jammu and Kashmir under military supervision and any formula dividing Kashmir. “We will not hesitate to make any sacrifice to support the people of Pakistan and Occupied Kashmir,” he emphasized.

The Prime Minister praised the bravery of the people and Pakistan’s support, stating that Azad Kashmir is peaceful, unlike occupied Kashmir, which has a history of cruelty and brutality.

Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq announced several development projects for Hajira, including the construction of Tarakhil-Hadi Tarpi Maidan Road, Hajira bypass, a bridge over Rangar Nala, reconditioning of Kathiyara Road, upgrading Tarakhil Tehsil Headquarters Hospital to 50-bed capacity, post-graduate college status for Boys Degree College Hajira, construction of a Dialysis Center, and Desah Road.

He emphasized the government’s focus on social protection, meritocracy, and transparency, highlighting achievements in the past 16 months. “Establishing social protection funds by reducing unnecessary expenditure is a major initiative for the poor people of the state,” he said.

Minister Teuta Sardar Aamir Altaf thanked the Prime Minister and government ministers for attending, acknowledging the historical bond between their families. “The Prime Minister’s father, Chaudhry Ali Khan, and my grandfather, Sardar Khan Bahadur Khan, had a very close relationship,” he said.

Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq also mentioned Pakistan’s debt of 77 billion due to cheap electricity and flour. He praised the people’s enthusiasm for Pakistan’s Independence Day and the idea of Pakistan’s accession.

“We will not allow the system to be destroyed under the guise of demands,” he warned, emphasizing the importance of unity and the ongoing efforts to fix the “sick system.”
