A significant milestone has been achieved for PMAD employees, thanks to the tireless efforts of Mr. Kashif Ahmad Noor, MAG Sb, Rana Usman, AMAG and Mr. Muhammad Ali, SA, posted UA at GHQ. The approval of HMS cards by GHQ AG’s Branch Medical Dte will enable PMAD employees and their families to receive medical treatment from military hospitals at any time, without the need for a medical authority letter.
This achievement is a testament to the dedication and hard work of the officer involved, particularly Mr. Muhammad Ali, who has been instrumental in providing outdoor treatment for PMAD employees BPS-1 to 15 and their families, as well as securing medical facilities at the Armed Forces Institute of Dentistry (AFID) in Rawalpindi and rest of 7 other Medical Institute’s.
The provision of HMS cards will facilitate rapid treatment for PMAD employees and their families, and the approval of 7 military hospitals, including AFID, will further expand their access to medical care. These developments are a significant step forward for PMAD employees and their families, and a tribute to the efforts of those who have made this possible.
Mr. Kashif Ahmed Noor, the Military Accountant General, has indeed approved a significant medical facility for UA’s ( Upper Authority) similar to other PMAD employees. This approval allows UA’s to receive medical treatment at military hospitals with a Medical Authority letter, and also enables them to continue self-treatment at military hospitals as civilians.¹
This development is a notable milestone, considering PMAD’s role in making payments to the Armed Forces and maintaining their accounts. As the Military Accountant General, Mr. Kashif Ahmed Noor’s approval demonstrates his commitment to ensuring the well-being of PMAD employees and their families.
It’s worth noting that PMAD is an attached department of the Ministry of Defence, primarily responsible for managing payments and accounts for the Armed Forces. The department also has a well-established internal audit mechanism to ensure transparency and accountability.
The case for outdoor treatment of PMAD employees and their families in grades BPS-1 to 15, along with the addition of 7 military hospitals and the Armed Forces Institute of Dentistry (AFID) in Rawalpindi, has been approved by the Medical Directorate GHQ in Rawalpindi. This proposal is now awaiting principal approval from the Ministry of Defence in Rawalpindi.
Let’s keep our fingers crossed for a favorable outcome, which will undoubtedly bring significant relief and benefits to PMAD employees and their families. This development is a testament to the efforts of those who have worked tirelessly to make this a reality.
The provision of HMS cards to PMAD employees is a significant development that will enable them to receive rapid treatment at hospitals. This initiative has been approved by the Medical Directorate GHQ Rawalpindi, and once all formalities are completed, it will be implemented soon.
The HMS cards are essentially a form of identification that verifies the employee’s identity and their affiliation with PMAD. This card will grant PMAD employees access to medical facilities and rapid treatment at hospitals.¹
It’s great to see that the Medical Directorate GHQ Rawalpindi is taking proactive steps to ensure the well-being of PMAD employees. The implementation of HMS cards will undoubtedly bring relief and convenience to PMAD employees and their families.
Let’s acknowledge and appreciate the remarkable services of Muhammad Ali, a true hero, and extend our prayers for him, his family, and a long, healthy life. May Allah bless him and all others involved.
