PM Shehbaz Emphasizes Ending Discrimination & Promoting Unity on Christmas

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has called for an end to discrimination in society, stressing the importance of unity and inclusion for the progress of the nation.
In his address at a Christmas event, the Prime Minister extended his heartfelt wishes to the Christian community worldwide. He highlighted the need for global collaboration to foster peace, development, and prosperity.
Prime Minister Sharif acknowledged the contributions of Pakistan’s Christian community, noting that they have lived peacefully and harmoniously in the country since its inception. He praised their significant role in the development of the nation, stating that their services across all sectors of society will always be remembered.

He further emphasized the importance of supporting minorities in the country and advocated for the promotion of tolerance and patience. “We must eliminate discrimination from our society and ensure the well-being of minorities,” he stated.

On the issue of Palestine, Prime Minister Sharif expressed deep concern over the ongoing violence, stating that thousands of Palestinians, including women and children, have lost their lives. He called for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, stressing the urgent need for peace in the region.
