PCB Pushes for Swift Completion of National Bank Stadium Renovations

Pakistan-(Mudassar Iqbal): The National Bank Cricket Stadium in Karachi is undergoing significant renovations as Pakistan gears up to host the ICC Champions Trophy.
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi recently inspected the progress and urged the team to accelerate efforts to ensure the project’s timely completion ahead of the high-profile tournament.
During his visit, Naqvi stressed the importance of placing the scoreboard in an optimal location and suggested moving the parking area closer to the stadium to enhance convenience for fans.
Naqvi underscored the significance of hosting the Champions Trophy, calling it a “great honor for Pakistan,” and affirmed that preparations will align with international standards to welcome top cricket teams from around the world.
He instructed that all construction work be completed swiftly, with particular focus on the timely delivery of the FWK Hikam Co-op project, a crucial component of the upgrades.
