Pakistan-Kashmir Bond Unbreakable: Azad Kashmir PM

MUZAFFARABAD: Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir, Chaudhry Anwarul Haq, has expressed gratitude to Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, for his unwavering support to the Kashmiri people. Addressing a special session of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly on Kashmir Solidarity Day, Haq reiterated that Pakistan’s stability is the top priority of Kashmiris, and the country will continue to provide moral, diplomatic, and political support to the Kashmiri people.

Haq also welcomed Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir, saying his presence sent a strong message to occupied Kashmir that Pakistan’s armed forces will never abandon the Kashmiri people. He emphasized that Pakistan is the biggest obstacle to India’s expansionist measures and called on the international community to take notice of Indian war crimes.

The Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir also acknowledged the previous government’s provision of Rs 11 billion to the Azad Kashmir government to alleviate economic difficulties. He praised Prime Minister Sharif for providing huge funds without discrimination, ensuring 3 rupees unit electricity and cheap flour for the people.

Haq stressed that the Kashmir issue must be resolved according to the aspirations of the Kashmiri people to achieve lasting peace. He reaffirmed that Kashmiris are Pakistanis “by birth, not by choice” and sought political, diplomatic, and moral support from the government of Pakistan
